Big Weekend!

What ended as a very hum-drum week turned out to be anything but. Friday, amongst the wind and rain was probably the best silver lining one could expect -- we were both most surprised and most excited to learn that the Dunn family would continue to grow (don't even go there....no one else is pregnant), Ms. Tara Murphy will be the newest edition to the family! The very very best wishes to the newly engaged couple - Tara and David. A September 2009 wedding will be planned! And just remember....A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.

Saturday we had a lovely time with the happy couple at Gonzofest (Flying Dog Brewery). Good chili and lots of beer. The crowd was a bit overwhelming so we happily retired to back porch for the rest of the evening.

Sunday, we decided to check out the course at Rocky Gap. It was a gorgeous day to head up to the mountains. Although we are so used to seeing the hills of the Catoctin's, there is a noticeable difference when you head a bit further west-- the mountains are a bit bigger and my 4 cylinder car doesn't seem to be able to keep up that well-- it reminds me of riding the single speed a bit?! After tooling around for a couple of hours we determined that we covered every bit of the course for the upcoming weekend.
