Kenda was rescued from Hurricane Gustav in New Orleans when he, his mother, and his siblings were found underneath a house. The owners of the house got in touch with animal rescuers (woman on the right above) and they were all brought to Tara's Babies Animal Welfare (woman on the left above) in Poolsville, Maryland.
Kenda (previously known as Wolfie) was born on September 20, 2008 and is now eight (8) weeks old and already weighs fifteen (15) pounds. Look at those paws! This Labrador mix (not sure, maybe Rottweiler, Newfoundland, or Pit Bull in there) is gonna be a big boy! He is mostly black with a good bit of brindle on his legs, face, and elsewhere. All is good so far after meeting Deco, our Golden Retriever, and our two cats, Bono & Taylor.
